My goal as a therapist is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. I believe that every client is an individual and I will work to meet you where you are in your growth and change process. Therapy is a deeply personal process and I believe in providing a safe environment for you to explore changes you would like to make in your life and I will help you to make those changes. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life and create a better future. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, together we will discover what is getting in your way from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I have been trained in family systems theory meaning that individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another but only in the context of their family and environment. I take a holistic, non-confrontational, and nonjudgmental approach to working with my clients. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), the most researched method of treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I will also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and a solution focused perspective.
I attended Keuka College where I earned Bachelor’s Degrees in both Social Work and Psychology. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Syracuse University. I have licenses to practice Social Work in both Arizona and Nevada.

Sometimes life can just be hard. We can get stuck in our own heads leaving us feeling like life is going nowhere or spiraling down. My approach is to combine techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness and empowerment. By helping people explore current thinking patterns, difficult emotions, and/or relational conflicts we can create individualized goals to work through these challenging times together.
I specialize in individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and the impacts of trauma.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Colorado State University and have worked with vulnerable populations including adolescents and children aged 5 years and older.
